A jumbled mix of lyrical imagery, mentally streamed at fast speed then broken down and re constituted gives certain results, sometimes they work. This is THE WICKER MAN a song written quite awhile ago while I was in a Depeche ‘The Sun and the Rainfall’ bleak afternoon kind of mood. Dense woodland outside my window, heavy with the day’s rain added a certain somberness to the atmosphere of the music as I was producing it.

Having moved into a ghostly old heritage apartment from the mid 1800s I wanted to take advantage of the historic, heavy timber window frames in a video [below], so I self filmed the ghoul as I walked around in 3D glasses. THE WICKER MAN although not included on an album, thematically would probably fit in with my 2010 Alien Skin album release, The Unquiet Grave.
